Product Placement Tracking - All About Product Sales

Visure, a Richmond, VA., start-up has developed their own system for tracking television product placement transactions.

When a consumer sees a product in a show/film that they are interested in purchasing, they go to evisure.com and locate the property. They are then able to scroll through the products from the show and follow a link to a transaction partner (e.g. Amazon.com).

Visure takes a commission from the sale and a fee for the promotion and tracking of the placement.

Visure's product placement research claims that almost 90% of consumers say they regularly search for items they saw in a product placement.

We think this will be a huge hit in the right content niches - HGTV, Style, and G4TV to name a few. The million dollar marketing question is...how do you educate the public about the consumer site?
